Gold Souk Mall

Retail

A metal mostly used in jewellery. unique concept, Gold Souk is India’s first speciality jewellery mall with over 100 leading jewellers and luxury brands from across the country in a single place. The design accommodates 1,00,000 sq. ft. of outdoor area and an expansive plaza, which makes it a one-of-its-kind recreation space. For the first time, 22 feet high retail shops with pre-designed structural elements, which allowed a part mezzanine to be created, were attempted in India. This addressed the specific need for owners to be physically present in their stores while monitoring from the mezzanine. A striking design idea translates the name of the mall onto its façade with gold coloured Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) and establishes it as a landmark in Gurugram. The design of the building is inspired by an oyster, which holds within itself a precious pearl. Likewise, the two curved forms of the twin buildings ‘hold’ an atrium which becomes the centre of all activities. Gold Souk’s prime location, in the vicinity of MG Road, makes the mall well placed and easily accessible for visitors. It is equipped with the most advanced technological and security systems while also comprising a grand atrium, exhibition hall, conference facilities, food court and terrace garden. Destination cafes and luxurious dining spaces make the experience much more fulfilling for visitors. The evening light turns the building into a shining gold, jewel like sculpture.
