Rumtek Monastery, New Delhi

Mixed Use/ Foreign Missions

Built for His Holiness, the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, the monastery is a striking representation of traditional Sikkimese architecture in the city’s urban landscape. The Institute is located in the Qutab Institutional Area, nestled in a thick cover of greenery. The design is a seamless integration of this natural cover with the built form.
