Healthcare architecture or architecture related to medical services is one of the rising sectors of development in India today. With a number of development initiatives being dedicated to the health of Indian cities and their inhabitants, healthcare services are looked upon as an important way to improve the quality of life. The project is a demonstration of the discipline and care exhibited by the Indian Army for their personnel. Located at Dhaula Kuan in New Delhi and completed in 2010, the Army College of Medical Sciences, attached to a 500-bed hospital, provides education as well as state-of-the-art medical facilities to the Indian Army personnel.
