Ayodhya Masterplan

Ayodhya, the sacred heart of India, is undergoing a historic transformation that unites heritage with modernity. With pilgrim numbers expected to rise tenfold by 2047, the city is preparing world-class infrastructure including an international airport, upgraded rail and bus terminals, expanded arterial roads, and iconic gateways known as Ram Dwars. A sustainable vision guides this growth, with restored kunds, Sarayu River rejuvenation, eco-friendly mobility, and renewable energy systems. Plans include a 1200-acre greenfield township aligned with Vastu principles, revitalized public spaces, inclusive accommodations from dharamshalas to hotels, and cultural destinations like the Ramayana Spiritual Forest. Together, these initiatives aim to preserve Ayodhya’s sanctity while creating a global spiritual and cultural hub that embodies the ideals of Ramnagari and Ramrajya.
