International Convention and Expo Centre, Goa

Master Planning/ Mixed Use

The International Convention and Expo Centre, Goa, developed for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), is a landmark convention and exhibition destination envisioned for international conferences, trade fairs, corporate events, cultural programmes and India Energy Week. The project was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, during India Energy Week 2026, reinforcing its significance as one of India’s foremost public infrastructure developments. Planned as an integrated institutional campus, the development brings together a 5,000-seat Convention Centre, a state-of-the-art Exhibition Hall and a Management Training Facility within a cohesive landscape framework, establishing a multifunctional venue for business tourism, global conventions and knowledge exchange. Its architectural expression draws inspiration from Goa’s traditional Kaavi art, reinterpreting regional craftsmanship through a contemporary, climate-responsive façade that filters natural daylight, reduces solar heat gain and enhances environmental performance. Flexible interior spaces, efficient exhibition planning and adaptable event infrastructure allow the complex to accommodate formats ranging from international expos and corporate conventions to cultural performances and large-scale public gatherings. Landscaped plazas, shaded pedestrian boulevards, integrated water features, resilient site planning and a 3 MW rooftop solar installation further reinforce its sustainability credentials. The project establishes a new benchmark in convention centre architecture, exhibition centre design, institutional planning and sustainable civic infrastructure, positioning Goa as an emerging destination for global events, business tourism and professional exchange.
