Sanchi University is a state of the art campus which has been designed using present day concepts of Energy Efficiency and Green Architecture. The buildings proposed in the campus are Barrier Free, Earthquake Resistant and strive to use Alternate Energy Sources. Creative & innovative use of various features of Buddhist & Indic Architecture can be seen in the design along with sculptures & gardens that cover the entire campus. There is an effective use of contours & natural landscape. Effective Segregation of internal and external movement systems help each space transition into one another in an effective manner. The identity of Sanchi- a World heritage site is encapsulated in the physical environment of the University. Meditation gardens and spiritual arc connect the Academic, Residential and other facilities in a manner that creates a tranquil learning and a living environment in harmony with nature.
