The Army College of Medical Science and Hospital is a part of the Army Base in the capital city of Delhi. The design of the institution evolved around the pre-existing trees and the complex geometry of the site. Furthermore, since the site has accessibility from both the Ring Road and the Airport approach road on opposite faces, the building was laid out in sinuous curves to respect the dual frontage. The stark juxtaposition of red brick cladding against the curtain glazing along the northern face of the building adds an element of interest. This medical college has a strength of 100 students annually and is attached to the Army Base Hospital in Dhaula Kuan. It is furnished with the latest facilities and has a 1200 seat auditorium along with a hostel for 600 students.
